DiverDive Sites:

As Omagh is not on the coast of Ireland, the nearest dive sites are located off the North and West coasts. The Club's most popular dive site is Mullaghmore on the North-West coast of County Sligo. This area has very sheltered sites where inexperienced divers can safely undergo tuition in open water. There are also more adventurous sites for the more experienced divers which can be accessed by boat, such as Ballyconnell, Inishmurray Island and Saint John's Point.

TurtleClub Equipment:

All OSAC Divers are covered by Insurance under our affiliation to C.F.T.. Sometimes guest divers ask to dive with us. They are most welcome if we have room in the boat!, for a small fee. It is vital, however, that they have insurance through their own Diving body or Association and their Diver's Log-book or Brevet.

'sFundraising:

Click to EnlargeThe Club holds various fundraising events each year, the most notable of which is the OSAC Annual Bar-B-Q. This is held in Mullaghmore, and tickets for this event are always in great demand as this is renowned as one of the best nights of the summer.
